Six Flags

So after Florida, we tried to get everyone together to go to Six Flags New England. The final people going: Me, Steve, Kenny, and Hoi. It was to be one of the last times for me to hang out with Steve before he left for China. We left early in the morning, so we got there right when the park opened, and went straight to Superman Ride of Steel. We got to ride it 2x in a row because there was virtually no wait. Hoi had never been on a rollercoaster in his life, and his first one was Superman. Any other coaster is going to be a let down in comparison.

So then we hit the other coaster with basically short lines, like Mind Eraser (hurt my head) and Batman (weak). I was hoping to see Luke Vexler as Robin at the Batman Adventures, but it wasn't open. Had lunch back at the car with turkey sandwiches and such.

We went on 2 water rides as well, and go throughly soaked. As we dried off, we went on one of the wooden coasters, and Kenny took a video of the whole bumpy, shaky ride on the camera. It was neck-snapping...in a bad way. We spent the rest of the day getting owned by various games like the bounce a ball into the bucket, shooting for basketballs, and whack-a-thing.

We got BK on our ride home, and also the ride home was awesome because of BSB and BAH. Hahaha. The memories...

Florida Trip

So after the Jr Prom, I took a flight next morning to Orlando, FL. Most of the S8 was there, except for Steve and Hoi. So, they picked me up in this red Dodge Caravan which was to be our designated ride for the week, and ran us 120 bucks each. Ok, so it was a whole week, so it was too long to describe. Here's a list of things we did, besides eating, sleeping, playing video games and girl talking.

Went golfing (Qian tossed a club into a lake), chilled in the pool and hot tub (lots of fustrated splashing by 2 individuals)went to Daytona Beach (Yin and Mike got mad burned), Kenny and I went to a club (and got free drinks), went shopping (so tiring), and watched and played Poker.

I'll quote Yin's blog for a portion:
We forced Jason to talk to lots of girls--two at the beach, two at the pool in the resort, and one at the airport. He's still oblivious to hints, but he did get better at conversation. However, he was too shy to look at our waitress at Hooters.

By the end of our trip Jason couldn't speak English anymore. The reason? We made up too many acronyms:

Jason said "k thx" to the pilot as we were exiting the plane at Logan--amazing.

Me and Kenny (Agent J, and Agent K ... JK!!) got awesome stuff at SuperTarget like AirHorns and Sparklers...it was sweet. The Florida Trip roxorzd your boxorz.

Junior Prom

So I went to the Attleboro High School Junior Prom with Chelsea Depot. Kinda random you might ask? Not too much. So she is a gymnast. And so she does follow her high school gymnastics team. And so Attleboro and Newton North did face off, and she met me. And subsequently imed me. At some point, I suggested myself as a canidate for her Jr Prom? And she accepted. Haha. Yeah, so anyways, I just pulled a Hoi, and did the all-Black, even though I later realized my "black suit" was really dark blue, striped, and not buttoned very high. I got owned later on by all these other guys in Tuxes when we took pics later. So my mom drove me to Attleboro, its exit 6. We first pulled up to her street, and this kid walks over in a tux. I'm like "does Chelsea live here?", and he tells me she lives on the end of the street, and that I'm very lucky to be her prom date. I agree.

I drive farther on the street and see this sweeet green house. Her mom comes out from the deck and tells me to come up. Chelsea looks awesome in this cream colored dress, and my corsage matches with it perfectly. It's like exactly the same color. Chelsea couldn't put on my boutineer, it was funny. Then it was the whole take pictures of the two kids forever. Haha. That was then moved outside, more *flash* *flash*, then it turned into take pics of the kids with their parents.

Then it was a quick stop at her gym to show off her dress to her teammates. That was sweet. Chels then got a pic with all her teammates, who all loved her dress. Then the coach was like "Chelsea, turn around and flex! Jason, turn around" HAHA. It's ok though, jacked chicks are Hot. Then we went to one of her friends houses, and then there was a lot of standing around with other guys in tuxes while the girls all went inside to do more makeup and random girl talk.

Originally when I heard it was at a restaurant I was confused. But the restaurant, Christinas, was pretty big and nice. We drove there with this other girl and her dates Cadillac, the one that gets shot up in the Matrix 2. When we got there people were still milling around outside. I was starving at that point, cuz I hadn't eaten since lunch. The this guy comes out of the restaurant with a BK Jr Whopper. I was like, YES! At the prom, they were only doing desset because they said the food was bad last year. It was good tho, chocolate covered strawberries, mousse, cheescakes, strawberry shortcake. The DJ was good, mostly hip hop and slow songs interdispersed. It was really hot on the dance floor, (now I know what you mean qian). It was fun dancing, cept that I kept stepping on Chels' dress (sorry!). There was a breaking circle at one point, but these black kids kept taking up the floor. But me and Matt Lincoln (yes he beat me on vault) went and back flipped into the circle. Then the song ended. Boo. The other kids at the table we were with were pretty good. I don't really remember their names or anything. Oh yeah, there was this limbo contest. That was awesome, esp since I was 3rd, after Chels and her friend, who won a shirt. There were people running around taking pics of couples, and Chels asked one of them to take a pic of us. She was like, "Jay, turn around," *Flash* Yeah. Didn't see that one coming. The pic was online. Geez, that's one of those pics where you see a hot girl and a tool next to her and go "Why is she with that tool??". Well I contributed to that pile.

Yeah, but the prom was too short, 7-11. Then her parents drove me home, cuz I had to fly to Florida the next day. :) :( . Yeah, and FL is the next post

Graduation

Graduation was interesting. My mom and I were freaking out when we got to BC because we couldnt figure out where Conti forum really was. Eventually we saw where tons of people were heading, and we followed them. So basically there were a bunch of diploma bearers and such standing around, talking and eating food. I saw Mrs. Huntington who asked me if I was ready to do the speech, and I said I was. Looked over the speech, listened to how everything was going to go, and bam, we're marching out. We put the diplomas on the tables and wait for everyone to file in. Then we sit down, except me cuz I have to make a speech. I sit next to Will M. I listen to McDougall make his retirement speech, and then Mrs. Huntington announced that I was the student speaker. I think the speech went ok. The audience all started laughing on my George Bush quote. I cracked my voice once, and I kinda screwed up the Lord of the Rings quote, but I think it was ok, all in all.

Then after I got my diploma, I ran and did a side flip. Man it was really low, and i touched the ground with my hand. I also lost my hat, so for the official graduation picture, I have no hat. Woops. Yeah, my mom was screaming and crying as usual. I wanted to get everyone together for a Sinic Eight pic, people were all over the place. So I did get a pic with Qian, Nong and Yin, and then later with Hoi. I mistook Hoi's brother for his Dad, cuz he looks pretty old. I mean, how was I supposed to know? And I got an Ipod from Hu Ying, Amy's babysitter. I haven't used it yet.

After Graduation Nong, Yin and I went to Legal Seafoods. I was using leet skills to scare the fish in the tanks with my laser pointer. And it was good. Then we all went to someone's house (I forget whose) and did more girl talk. The End.

Senior Prom

So, my Sr Prom was on Monday night. I went with Yang Yijing, AKA Kat. Picked her up at her house around 4 with the corsage, orange, to match the teal dress. (ohh see those mad contrast color skilz). Vivian had to go to school and was kinda late, but eventually we all made it. The whole Sinic Eight with their dates showed up at Kenny's house to take pictures. It was like paparazzi with 20 cameras. We didnt set up the guys pictures well because Chun Lau is right between Kenny and Qian, looking really short. Also Yin who wore all white, should have been in the middle, and he was bummed that he was missing his white dressed girlfriend. But oh wellz. Hoi didn't rent a tux but went all black with a really nice suit that looked great.

So 14 people (Jason+Kat, Hoi+Alison, Nong+Lia, Chun+Nichole, Steve+Claire, Kenny+Heather, and Yin+Vivian) took the tour bus to Fairmount Copely Plaza where the prom was held. The bus ride was so exciting, the anticipation. The windows were open and I got this shot of Kat with her hair in her face. So hot. We left kinda early, so we went to the Boston Common to take some pictures by the lake, and they looked pretty nice.

Once we got there it was quite interesting. Bunch of people showed up in stretch SUVs, which we were going to get, but cost too much. Our Limo/Bus was cooler anyways. It was funny to see all the people from school again. It was kinda surreal...I mean yeah it seemed like a few days a go that I had seen them in school, but it had been almost 2 weeks.


The food was good, the table was only big enough for 8 so it was Heather, Kenny, Kat, Vivian (stole my seat?), Yin, Me, Chun, Nichole, Steve and Claire. Hoi and Alison sat with Alex P and them, Nong sat with sci team, and Qian sat with the Wendys upstairs. The food was good: Caesar Salad, Chicken, and delicious Cheesecake desert with raspberry sauce. MMmm.

Of course, the best part, dancing. The dance floor itself was kinda crowded, considering there were about 600ish people there (I'm guessing), but yeah. Yin liked the DJ cuz he played Beatles and Stevie Wonder. But soon he got to hip hop and it was alll good. Quote: Viv-"I taught all your friends how to grind!", Kat-"And I practiced with them!" But yes, there was a great deal of dancing and fun and almost losing cameras, wallets and sunglasses. Chun Lau I love you, and I am forever gradeful. I liked how it was long (6-12pm) but still it was over too fast. What an fun time. Qian, going from full tux to mostly naked in a matter of hours (ok, it doesn't sound that fast but it was because I didn't see the undressing process).

Soon enough..it was over, after a few more pictures, and girls stealing flowers, we went back to the Bus which was surprising RIGHT outside the hotel. The bus ride home was more subdued. We got back to Kenny's, people got changed and went to North. Me and Kat played blackjack, with Kat stealing chips while the dealer was away and then betting them and doubling her money. Oh yeah, and she threw a 48mph ball...owning many muscled males (no, not me, I didn't do it.) After staying at North, Me, Yin, Kat, Heather, Hoi and Kenny went back to my house, soon to be joined by Beijia, Tian, Mikes Cousin, Qian and later Nong. We played Kings. Kat being a small asian girl, ... spent the later half of the night sleeping in my bed (wow that sounds so wrong). Then I dropped her off at school, and We went to Burger King.

US Championships

Ok, this was a while ago, around June 2-6ish, and basically I f-ed up. I came in 4th from JO Nationals, and with a very good chance of making the Jr. National Team. But I blew it. My rings set was shaky, and I totally screwed up on Parallel Bars, struggling on the morisue, and falling on the stuz to one bar. I placed 4th on the 4 events I didn't mess up on, but it was not enough. I was .5 away from making 7th place, but instead I got 12th. Do you know what 12th gets you? Nothing.
